Description
Whole cluster pressed and direct to tank for cold settling. The clear juice was racked to tank and inoculated. About 86% was fermented in neutral French oak barrels. Both tank and barrels were left sur lie for about 14 months to further develop this well balanced chardonnay.
Tasting Notes: Aromas of Meyer lemon, pear and pineapple are backed by rich vanilla bean. Bright flavors of yellow apple, nectarine and apricot expand on the palate, along with expressive notes of caramel. The round, smooth mouthfeel is balanced by a lively acidity.
